The UmojaFest P.E.A.C.E. Center is a multi-purpose youth centered cultural facility in the heart of Seattle’s historic Central District. The mission of the center is to inspire and empower youth through Positive Education, Art, Culture & Enterprise (P.E.A.C.E.).

Classes

Using a continuing education model powered by strategic partnerships, the facility features a variety of courses including audio production, entrepreneurship, life skills, financial literacy, creative writing, African drumming,  new media, music business, fashion design/merchandising, art /graphic design, journalism/publishing, civics/community development and more. Classes are taught by experienced professionals.

UmojaFest Memorial P.E.A.C.E. Garden

The memorial peace garden recognizes the toll that violence has taken on our community while promoting harmonious sustainable living and community building through maintaining a neighborhood garden.
